As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality tour, focused on the Ultimate Football Experience, to all fans entering Acrisure Stadium. In addition to conducting tours of the stadium, Tour Guides serve as ambassadors for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers while also taking part in special and corporate events at Acrisure Stadium. Tour Guides can impact each Guests’ experience and do everything that they can to forge memories for their groups while abiding by company policies and procedures.

Primary (Essential) Duties:

  • Interact and guide visitors through walking tour of Acrisure Stadium.

  • Present factual, accurate knowledge in accordance with provided information and adhere to time constraints outlined by the Tour Guide Supervisor.

  • Responsible for knowledge of Acrisure Stadium as well as Pitt Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and National Football League history as provided by Guest Experience Department.

  • Welcome Guests to Acrisure Stadium prior to all tour start times and follow outlined group check in procedures as assigned by the Tour Guide Supervisor.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate well with various size groups and to people of all ages and backgrounds.

  • Strong public speaking skills.

  • Knowledgeable of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers.

  • Ability to maintain a POSITIVE and PROFESSIONAL attitude while handling difficult situations is essential.

  • Must be able to navigate online ABI/ESS scheduling system to submit availability monthly.

  • Tour Guides must report to work 30 minutes prior to their first tour, no later. New Tour Guides are asked to shadow three tours before leading their own.

  • Tour Guides are required to make themselves available a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb stairs, talk, and hear.

  • Position requires ability to walk long distances.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is moderate, however, during certain events, the noise level may be loud. Employees must be able to work on evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of this job.

Required Training: All new hires will attend a general tours and service orientation. As a Tour Guide, new team members will receive the necessary information and tools that must be learned to successfully deliver tours. All participants will be required to shadow three tours before conducting their own and must pass tests within 60 days of employment based on the material.
