We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing Manager – Ticket Sales and Retention with the Marketing Department. This position will be responsible for collaborating with Ticket Sales and Service teams to create and complete targeted campaigns focused on growth and retention of season ticket membership base, single game sales, partial plans, suite/premium offerings and group sales. Core focus is to act as a campaign architect in the facilitation of all interpersonal deliverables required to successfully implement and recap each campaign. Collaborate with heads of Ticket Sales and Service departments to identify, execute, and recap strategic campaigns while serving as campaign lead (project manager) in the submission and facilitation of all Ticket Sales and Service campaign requirements (creative requests, task submissions, VO copy, etc…). Work with Digital Strategy team in the scheduling and deployment of ticket related messaging. The Marketing manager will also produce and share ideas for promotional events and/or activities in support of the Ticket Sales and work directly with Life Cycle Marketing team to develop strategies to support tickets sales. Traffic television and radio marketing materials to local broadcast affiliate and internal team members, plan grassroots marketing efforts, including working with local events vendors to develop a strategy, planned attendance, and recapping success, and lead all aspects of street team efforts at local events and in-arena functions. In addition to Suns duties the Manager will also assist in developing plans in support of Phoenix Mercury ticketing goal.

What Will You Do:

  • Lead single-game ticket sales marketing strategy

  • Membership Sales and Retention marketing strategy

  • Oversight of grassroot and street team marketing

  • Mercury tickets sales marketing

  • Premium Area and Suite ticket marketing

  • Development and distribution of ticket sales and promotional messaging, copy, static and audio/video assets

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in successfully supervising, mentoring, and coaching a team

Experience/ Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or closely related

  • 5-7 years of experience developing strategic marketing plans

  • 3- years’ experience working in sports or entertainment entity or marketing agency

  • Ticket sales or marketing of ticket sales products preferred

  • Account and retention marketing experience preferred
