We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Recruiter within the People and Culture Department (HR). This position will be responsible for managing a full cycle recruiting process in a sports and entertainment environment. This individual will maintain quality of job announcements, screening of applicants and quality of hiring lists referred to the hiring managers. The person selected for this role will provide a professional level of human resource services to all staff and applicants.

What Will You Do:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process that supports the recruiting strategy and goals of the company

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute staffing plans and activities to hire qualified candidates, by conducting phone screens/video interviewing and assess candidates, recommend candidates to hiring managers and schedule in-person interviews.

  • Compose job announcements and prepare requisitions in UKG Pro Recruiting

  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to increase the quantity, quality, and diversity of the candidate pool

  • Consults with managers to ensure offers of employment are in line with policies and compensation practices. Create and deliver offer letters/relocation packages

  • Responsible for delivering a positive and efficient applicant experience by demonstrating effective communication skills and providing applicants with accurate and complete information

  • Attend job fairs and/or onsite events.

  • Adhere SLP’s Policies and Procedures, Employment Laws and Federal Laws

  • Assist with other special projects and tasks as assigned

What We Need From Our Recruiter:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with staffing trends and best practice guidelines for the selection process.

  • Drafting correspondence using appropriate grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Ability to comfortably and effectively interact with all levels of management and staff as well as outside clients and vendors

  • Strong recruiting, relationship management, time management and influencing skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, including legal recruiting requirements

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Experience/ Education Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 - 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience, human resources experience or a combination of both

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
