WHAT SETS YOU APART
This position will be primarily responsible for coordinating the event logistics for all non-gameday Exploria Stadium events. The Stadium Events Coordinator will liaison with clients, internal departments, and external stakeholders, preparing and distributing event details, and providing on-site event support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn all aspects of Orlando City SC teams & history as well as Exploria Stadium’s layout capacity, event spaces etc.
Work with the Stadium Events Manager to identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each event.
Liaise with vendors during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
Create, distribute, and maintain event details and venue operational instructions including event timing, room and concourse layouts, contact lists and other activities to responsible parties in a timely manner.
Under the direction of the Events Manager, execute all non-soccer events logistics including set-up and tear down.
Manage all internal event requests with other departments.
Proactively maintain ongoing communication with the client before and during the event/meeting.
Research, negotiate and coordinate outside service needs with vendors as required.
Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to client’s standards.
Assist with special needs or requests from clients and timely communicate request internally.
Assist in the preparation of the venue to meet the requirements of upcoming events and City/Pride matches.
Coordinate and lead stadium and event tours, sharing knowledge about Orlando City SC and Exploria Stadium.
Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with co-workers, vendors, and clients.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education/training and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Strong written communication and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of domestic and international soccer preferred.
Ability to maintain workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
Flexible and able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.
Must possess outstanding organizational and time management skills along with a strong attention to detail.
Bilingual is a plus.
Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to extreme weather and/or adverse conditions.
