This is an exciting time at Newcastle United and we are looking for talented individuals to help us on our journey. To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and our Sporting Director.

You will be responsible for providing an effective and professional administrative support to our growing Executive Team, dealing with complex and highly confidential requests, particularly around diary management and internal / external communications.

You will possess significant experience of working with, and supporting, C-suite stakeholders in a similar role in a pro-active and diplomatic way. Attention to detail is critical as you will have responsibility for significant international diary management including co-ordination of key Executive meeting agendas and liaison with relevant stakeholders on Board matters.

You will also support the CEO and Sporting Director in preparing presentation materials, paperwork and event management for executive meetings - including meeting requirements and other associated activities. Therefore, an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential.

Acting as an ambassador for our brand and values, you will play a key role in ensuring all relevant queries are handled with a strong customer focus and diplomacy. You will have great communication and negotiation skills and be comfortable dealing with very senior stakeholders.

English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at C or above are essential as are A level qualifications (or comparable qualification / experience). A formal qualification in a related discipline is desirable, as is experience providing Executive Assistant support in an elite sporting environment, but this is not essential.

This is an exciting period for the club and with a salary of £35,000 (circa), an employee bonus scheme, free city centre parking, hybrid working (non-contractual) and a wide range of benefits this is an excellent opportunity to join our Newcastle United family.
