This is an exciting time at Newcastle United and we are looking for talented individuals to help us on our journey. To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for Cleaning Assistants to join our Venue Operations team at St. James’ Park.
As a Cleaning Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stadium is a clean and welcoming environment. You will have an allocated area within the stadium to carry out your cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained. Cleaning activities include, but are not limited to; cleaning office areas, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming and furnishing floors.
You will be an approachable individual, with strong communication skills and deliver high levels of customer service. You will need to be able to work well with minimal supervision and manage your time effectively to ensure your cleaning duties are fulfilled.
In addition to your standard hours, you will need to work a rotation of home matchdays which will be dictated by a rota.
We are looking to cover the following: Monday – Saturday: 07.00am – 10.00am (Allocated Area = Main Reception) Monday – Saturday: 07.00am – 10.00am (Allocated Area = Level 5 offices & corridors)
This could be: 2 x Cleaning Assistants working 18hours per week 3 x Cleaning Assistants working 12hours per week 4 x Cleaning Assistants working 9hours per week
