New York Red Bulls are one of 28 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.
Purpose of this job
We are hiring a Part-Time Communications Assistant that reports to the Manager of Communications on our Content and Communications team. This is a part-time, hourly position that will work out of both Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., and the Red Bulls Training Facility in East Hanover, N.J.
What you'll do You will contribute to content creation, including written articles for the club website and running social channels for New York Red Bulls II and Red Bulls Academy. You will also manage all communications and media relations needs surrounding NYRB II and RB Youth Programs.
Additional responsibilities include writing and distributing press releases, creating weekly media notes, and managing game day communications and media relations needs at MSU Soccer Park for Red Bulls II.
