The New York Mets are looking for a Manager of IPTV Content to supervise and manage content for the IPTV displays at Citi Field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage content loading and scheduling for all IPTV displays at Citi Field, including for Mets offices during business hours, Mets home games and other non-Mets events

  • Work closely alongside the Content, Corporate Partnerships, and Venue Services groups on content creation and IPTV specs, ensuring all content is tested and properly scheduled for all events

  • Oversee and train less experienced stakeholders in managing scheduling, including menu board item and pricing information and Corporate Partnership ad rotations and insertion

  • Design IPTV layouts using Samsung’s MagicInfo content management system, including L-bar wraps, menu boards, and game in progress information

  • Work with outside agencies on content creation, serving as Mets liaison to ensure proper content is delivered in a timely manner

  • Update and maintain spec sheets for all different types of events at Citi Field

  • Technical resource for other departments and business units as needed

  • Help on special IPTV projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in broadcast television, digital media, film, or other A/V related field preferred.

  • Five years’ experience working in video production facilities or live television control rooms. Experience with IPTV systems a plus.

  • Proficient with content management systems (CMS) and able to navigate and design layouts from blank canvases. Experience with Samsung MagicInfo a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.

  • Strong knowledge of technical video elements including codecs, specs, aspect ratios, frame rates.

  • Applicants must possess a strong proficiency in arithmetic and be able to calculate specifications down to a single pixel.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

  • Experience troubleshooting in a live production environment.

  • Able to analyze problems, identify solutions and alternatives, assess consequences and implement recommendations.

  • Must be a team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Goal oriented, self-starter with strong work ethic.

  • Position requires non-standard working days and hours. Must be available to work most regular season home games plus any preseason and postseason games or jewel events. Hours will include nights, weekends and holidays in addition to the regular work week. In addition, be available “on call” for troubleshooting during off hours as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • This position regularly requires sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time

  • This position might require some travel during the offseason and baseball season

Salary Range:

$59,212.13 - $78,949.50
