The role of the Executive Assistant, Chief Communications Officer is to ensure effective assistance to Mets Executive Leadership both in internal and external matters, in a manner that corresponds to the business requirements of the role. This position involves highly skilled, responsible, diversified, and administrative activities for Senior Leadership as well as active participation in the Mets Organization at large.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones, scheduling meetings internally and externally, filing, mailing, copying and all other personal assistance duties as required.

  • Assistance is planning, implementation, and execution of Departmental events and initiatives.


  • Experience working in fast-paced, confidential environment with prior administrative assistant experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, calendar, and previous experience with personal assistance.

  • Sound judgment and ability to tactfully exercise authority with respect to third parties as needed.

  • Solid time management skills and able to work with a great degree of independence.

  • Must be trustworthy and capable or maintaining high levels of discretion when required.

  • BA or BS Degree preferred with an additional 2-5 years of experience working in an office environment providing administrative support.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Flexibility to work beyond normal office hours as needed.
