The New York Mets are seeking a Coordinator as part of our growing Consumer Products team. This position will be responsible for all aspects of sales and operations of our Amazin’ Memorabilia program. Amazin’ Memorabilia is the official source for game-used and autographed Mets collectibles with all net proceeds being donated to the Amazin’ Mets Foundation by the New York Mets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Amazin’ Memorabilia store at Citi Field including staffing, merchandising, operations, and all associated reconciliation of daily sales

  • Lead all direct sales efforts with customers via phone and e-mail, requiring extensive relationship building and a strong focus on rapid responses and order fulfilment

  • Act as primary contact for Authenticators Inc., covering the scheduling and coordination of all authentication sessions

  • Create, launch, promote, and fulfill all online sales including weekly auctions and year-round fixed price offerings

  • Maintain detailed and accurate inventory with annual fluctuations of over 10K uniquely authenticated items

  • Organize and maintain all storage areas that house Amazin’ Memorabilia items as well as fixtures, supplies, etc. that are used by the program

  • Work with merchandise vendors to design, order, and ensure timely delivery of product

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for Amazin’ Memorabilia in collaboration with Marketing department including, but not limited to, digital content creation, static signage design, PA reads, website updates, etc.

  • Research and propose new products and initiatives that will elevate our product assortment and enhance the overall fan experience at the Amazin’ Memorabilia store

  • Provide frequent updates and detailed financial analysis of all projects to department leadership

  • Act as main point of contact on Consumer Products team for any questions/requests involving Amazin’ Memorabilia

  • Assist with all internal memorabilia requests as needed

  • Assist with general Consumer Products department needs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Three years of relevant work experience, preferably in the sports field.

  • Able to work to the end of all Mets home games and other stadium-wide events

  • Team-oriented, outgoing, extremely motivated, and able to work independently

  • Professional demeanor with strong organizational, planning, and communication skills

  • Extremely flexible and open to learn new skills

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines

  • Able to travel out of state 2-3 times per year to meet with vendors, MLB, other teams/venues

  • Strong visual presentation skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint & Excel as priorities)

  • Extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop
