The Graphic Designer will be responsible for New York Liberty designs. The incumbent is responsible for designing and creating graphics to meet specific branding needs from ideation to execution across print, online, mobile, email, arena, etc. The incumbent must be experienced with a variety of mediums to achieve artistic goals. This position requires creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems; and a strong knowledge of print, motion, and production. The incumbent must also be a team player who understands the importance of communication and adhering to deadlines. The Graphic Designer will report to BSE Global’s Creative Director and New York Liberty’s Chief Brand Officer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design of original creative elements
Adaptation of design elements to carry out the continuity of the New York Liberty brand throughout all collateral
Design projects include but are not limited to: print and digital ads, creative for publications and OOH, e-mail marketing components, internet (banners, pop-ups and other design elements), sponsorship elements, promotional items, internal communication pieces, and in-arena assets like LED screens
Knowledge of silhouetting, image manipulation, retouching, color correction
Ability to supervise print work with illustrators and photographers
E-mail campaign layout and design
Precise proofing of all materials
Take initiative, be involved, active and creative in suggesting new ideas and think outside of the box
Communicate with outside print vendors, relaying specifications for production
Serving as a checkpoint in regards to logo usage, graphic standards, etc.
Capable of working on multiple design projects at a given time and execute quickly
Assist in maintaining and establishing design department policies
Other duties as assigned by the Marketing department

Education and/or Experience
College degree, preferably in graphic design/fine art or equivalent
5+ years of experience in print production and digital design
Sports and/or arena industry experience preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is necessary. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a must. After Effects and any video editing experience a plus (Premiere).
Experience with designing creative for LED boards a plus;
Knowledge of additional software or plugins helpful for creating presentation graphics, video intros, web features, etc;
Experience in sports and/or entertainment.

Salary Range
$70,000 - $82,000
Work Environment
The current role is hybrid, working from the office Monday – Thursday is required. Nights and weekends during the season are also required.
