The New York Jets are searching for an enthusiastic, motivated sales leader to sell premium suites, premium seating, and hospitality at MetLife Stadium for NY Jets home games. This role will report to the Vice President, Premium Partnerships & Service.

Job Summary: This individual will help implement, direct, evaluate, measure, and supervise all strategies relating to New Business suite sales. In addition, this individual will be expected to leverage their individual book of business as well as identify and strategically activate against the day-to-day nuances of suite sales in the New York Metro marketplace and beyond to help drive towards the organization’s revenue goals.

NOTE: The level of the role ultimately hired will depend on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Specific requirements are identified below.

Job Duties:

  • Develop suite and premium seating prospects through outside sales, cold calling, and your own network.

  • Design sales proposals, featuring multiple sales packages, including full and half season suites, single event suite opportunities and premium seating.

  • Make sales presentations and conduct various tours of the stadium to potential buyers.

  • Assist in managing the staffing, finances, strategy, and planning for the team's suite sales efforts to help the organization achieve its goals.

  • Oversee the development, administration and execution of new sales efforts, collateral, sales tracking/reporting and post-sale communications.

  • Research, analyze, identify, and cultivate areas for growth of suite sales, including driving strategic lead generation through category analysis and proactive prospect engagement.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of an ongoing prospect list for new suite sales opportunities.

  • Assist organizational leadership on the development of suite sales products.

  • Develop and execute long and short-term strategies to attract and retain new and existing clients.

  • Develop and direct new business sales campaigns.

  • Develop strategies as needed for non-traditional initiatives, such as business development events.

  • Work with the Suite Service Department to coordinate activities to strengthen relationships with all new and existing suite holders.

  • Create a culture of enthusiasm and service excellence that aligns with our organizational values.

  • Develop and maintain strong, cooperative inter/intra departmental relationships.

  • (For Senior Director) Directly manage the new business sales team on a day-to-day basis.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President, Premium Partnerships & Service.

Experience and Requirements:

  • 7+ years (For Director)/10+ years (For Senior Director) of experience selling premium suites, tickets and hospitality at a sports team, entertainment venue or live event/concert company.

  • (For Senior Director) Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and demonstrated ability to close deals required.

  • Experience with lead generation and cold calling.

  • Knowledge of premium sales and marketing best practices.

  • Ability to work home games and prospecting events throughout the year

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. General Information:
