This position plays a vital role in enhancing the fan experience and acting as brand ambassadors for NYCFC during home matches, at external events, and within the community. Candidates will be responsible for interacting with fans of all ages, enhancing the NYCFC brand in a public-facing capacity, and creating positive, lasting memories for all attendees.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist the Live Production team with the execution of NYCFC events from start to finish (including assisting with loading in/out, coordinating games and activities, running contests and sweepstakes, setting up/breaking down equipment such as tents, tables, sound equipment, inflatable games, and more)

  • Represent the NYCFC brand in a positive, knowledgeable manner

  • Act as an on-site host for any street team appearances (includes conducting giveaways on-camera or with a microphone to large audiences)

  • Assist Match Presentation team with in-stadium duties such as crowd hype, camera shots, in-stadium games, on-field presentation, etc.

  • Assist the Live Production team on-site with NYCFC tentpole and marketing events such as Homecoming, Golf Cup, CITYFEST, and more

  • Drive team branded vehicles

  • Act as a brand ambassador for both NYCFC and our partners as needed

  • Assist with partner activations

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Outgoing, energetic, quick-thinking, and comfortable with being on-camera

  • Knowledge of our core demographic and the NYCFC brand

  • Ability to positively interface with guests of all backgrounds

  • Ability to navigate high-pressure situations and problem solve

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability

  • Must be able to commute to Orangeburg, NY

  • Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time

  • Night and weekend availability (Wednesday nights and Saturdays are mandatory)

  • Comfortable speaking to and managing large crowds

  • Excellent communication skills

  • 1-3 years experience in a BA or street team role

  • Basic audio/visual knowledge

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary

  • New York City Football Club requires a COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, subject to exception under applicable law
