The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are seeking a Game Experience Coordinator that will assist the Director of Game Experience and the Senior Game Experience Coordinator in delivering world-class experiences for our fans. This detail oriented, enthusiastic individual will be responsible for the critical logistics and tasks that ensure a smooth game presentation. This role requires a highly organized, creative individual who loves solving problems and thrives in an ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate game day plans with our stadium and/or arena management partner, ASM Global, and internal partners such as the Game Operations team
Assist in the development and execution of Saints and Pelicans team events (ie. Dave Dixon Happy Hour Events, HoopLa, Draft Boil, Draft Party, etc.)
Run point on all game day logistics at the stadium/arena, including concourse activations, back of house needs, locker room allocations, staff meals, etc.
Serve as “stage manager” and assist with providing direction to hourly game day staff
Coordinate with the internal Production team on the creation of in-game assets and content
Help maintain the team music library and ensure it stays fresh and current
Lead the internal planning of game day giveaway distribution and management of giveaway inventory
Brainstorm, present, and implement innovative ways to improve the game experience and help retain our leadership ranking
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or a related field of study
1+ years experience working in sports game presentation, live entertainment or special event production
Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals
Must be able to think on your feet and problem solve in fast paced, high stress situations
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
Can-do attitude; starts from a place of “yes” and is always solution oriented
A great communicator and team player who wants everyone to succeed
Must possess the ability to walk, sit and stand while directing events
Must possess the ability to work with technology and on a computer for long and potentially extended periods
Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
