SUMMARY: The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the development and execution of email and digital marketing, as needed, for the New England Revolution and their brands such as the Academy, Youth Soccer and Junior Revs. The position will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects and will report to the Digital Marketing Supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and manage all social media advertising designed to generate revenue among several target audiences while tailoring messaging/creative to each segment

  2. Manage digital marketing calendar via project management software to keep team organized and create transparency across departments

  3. Manage the creation, scheduling, and deployment of select email campaigns, including proofreading and occasionally copywriting, ensuring all information is approved, accurate and meets best practice guidelines

  4. Collaborate with social media influencers and execute fulfillment on both ends of the partnership on matchday and beyond

  5. Assist in the creation and delivery of creative assets for all digital, social, and traditional media campaigns using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator

  6. Create, edit and manipulate images and graphics when necessary

  7. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure all marketing and adverting is executed within brand guidelines of New England Revolution

  8. Collaborate with departments across the organization to support revenue generation objectives

  9. Consume sports and marketing content across other teams, leagues and brands

  10. Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field

  • 1-3 years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience

  • Previous experience with email marketing platforms such as Marketo

  • Strong knowledge of email marketing concepts and best practices

  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills

  • Working knowledge of graphic design applications such as Adobe Photoshop

  • Proven ability to create, edit or manipulate images and graphics for email, web, and social media

  • Strong knowledge of importance of branding with the ability to follow guidelines and its application

  • Detail and results oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

  • Flexibility in working quickly and efficiently under pressure to handle shifting priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams consisting of technical and non-technical members

  • Work well in fast paced, team-oriented environment, with consumer-centric mindset

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
