This role within the NHL that acts as a resource to various stakeholders as it relates to the successful management, execution and reporting the NHL Corporate Partners, NHL Marketing, & NHL Clubs, for all ad operations and ad development needs. Further, the scope covers all geographical distribution partners to ensure proper functionality, ad dev/tech , delivery of campaigns, ad product, and overall platform support.
AD OPERATIONS: fulfill role of lead ad ops contact @NHL with multiple functions:
Lead the ad ops process, ad server, order management system and ad request queue
Manage inventory and reporting needs across league and club
Support the campaign optimizations for NHL Partners and NHL Clubs as needed
Ensure proper set-up, tagging, testing for any new content sections or sponsorship initiatives and participate in QA process
Troubleshoot and address creative and/or technical problems as they arise
Ad Ops liaison between Warner, Rogers Media, etc for partner campaigns/passbacks on NHL platforms
Monitor any 3rd party ad network and ensure they adhere to league standards
Monitor ad performance regularly across geographic territories
Corporate Partners – Support the partner planner with following activity related to contractual media programs
Manage high number of concurrent campaigns and ensure execution of deliverables for NHL digital ecosystem, including trafficking and QA
Participate in planning process for inventory avails and pricing needs.
Oversee the vendor relationship and campaign tracking with IAS, Sebpo and Adjuster
Recommend adjustments to LIVE campaigns to optimize as necessary,
Monitor NHL digital product infrastructure for site mapping and tagging requirements for club sites and apps; support ad tech and dev for new digital platforms, to ensure ad serving functionalit
Act as advisor to NHL Clubs on digital solutions, and ad operations as necessary
Monitor NHL Club campaign request queue and have authority to escalate as required
Enforce NHL Club block list to ensure protections are in place
Generate reports as requested/monthly automated report
Liaise with 32 NHL Clubs on digital media best practices, tagging, process, troubleshooting, escalation, campaign optimization
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University
At least 5 years of relevant work experience as manager for Ad Operations
Direct experience and usage of digital ad operations tools such as Google Ad Manager and Operative, IAS and Adjuster required
Direct experience with ad trafficking and ad tag generation is required.
Intermediate knowledge of graphic design software (i.e.: Photoshop)
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Team focus and interaction within a professional work environment

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Independent and proactive approach to work
Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
Efficient time management and ability to multitask
Salary Range for this role is: $90K to $110K
