The NFL Media Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) Group is a new business segment within NFL Media tasked with building a closer connection between fans and the world's most exciting sports and entertainment experience, The National Football League.

The Manager, DTC Analytics and Optimization will focus on identifying, evaluating, and launching opportunities to drive subscriber growth across the DTC business, including NFL+. By supporting all DTC analytics and reporting, this role is responsible for optimizing the retention and monetization of DTC subscribers through improvements to pricing, promotion, product, and content programming. You will work with stakeholders across the NFL to implement these improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new product feature launches, distribution channels, and revenue models that drive meaningful subscriber growth and improve monetization opportunities for the NFL DTC business

  • Support all efforts around pricing and promotions across the NFL DTC business, including portfolio pricing, bundling discounts, packaging strategy, and limited time offers

  • Develop ambitious near- and long-term subscriber and revenue forecasts for all NFL DTC products and determine the optimal path to achieve those goals

  • Work cross-functionally with key partners in Product, Marketing, Technology, Business Development, and Finance to develop and implement opportunities to improve DTC customer lifetime value

  • Identify market and operational risks / dependencies for these growth opportunities, diagnosing business challenges and developing executional strategies to mitigate or overcome them

  • Work with an external analytics vendor team that will run in-depth reporting and ad-hoc analyses to inform key growth decisions and assist in building launch strategies for new products, promotions, and initiative

  • Assign/execute on other ad hoc requests as assigned NFL Media Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • At least four (4) years of work experience that includes one or a combination of the following

  • Strategy and/or analytics role at a media-based DTC company or subsidiary

  • Marketing and/or performance analytics role a media-based DTC company or subsidiary

  • Management Consulting within the Media, Technology, or Telecom practice

  • Experience in developing evidence-based strategic frameworks to inform decision-making

  • Experience interfacing and presenting to senior executives and management teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • A keen eye for presentation design and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skill -must be comfortable living in the details of the numbers

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with several deliverables under tight deadlines

  • High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and deep intellectual curiosity

  • Strong passion for sports media and entertainment

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative DNA

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week
