The Senior Coordinator of Business Operations, Engineering will be responsible for administering the day-to-day business activities of the Post Production & Studio Engineering Department in NFL Films’ Mount Laurel, NJ headquarters. This position will work very closely with Engineering management to ensure departmental adherence to general company policies and practices while assisting in the planning, building and maintaining of various projects, as well as general capital and operating expense budgets. This position will serve as a key facilitator on behalf of the Engineering department with NFL Finance, Legal and Internal Audit. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the development and execution of company-wide strategic projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with organization of strategic inter-department projects and/or manage organization of key department projects including, but not limited to schedule meetings, create and maintain critical project documentation and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Manage the procurement of assets and services for the department (requesting proposals, executing POs, processing invoices, etc.)

  • Manage and track support contracts and software license renewals

  • Facilitate the execution of vendor contracts in coordination with legal and finance departments

  • Assist with general department budgets, plans and reports

  • Assist with maintaining department’s compliance to company policies and best practices requirements as they relate to the internal audit process

  • Assist with managing engineering staff schedules in coordination with production and operations departments’ support requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent work-related experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project administrator in the film/television production and/or information technology sectors.

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in broadcast engineering and/or information technology.

  • Working knowledge of PC and MAC based computer systems.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project management software (MS Project, Merlin Projects, etc) a plus

  • Experience with ServiceNow a plus but not required.

Salary / Pay Range

Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Standard 40 work week with potential for occasional evening or weekend work depending on specific project requirements.

  • FLSA exempt.
