The NFL Media Group is seeking an Associate Manager of Media Content Strategy within its Club Media and Audience Development Group. This role requires an individual who has direct experience in Digital Media and Content Strategy with a solid understanding of the Sports League / Entertainment Media industry. The role will report to the Director of Club Media Strategy within the NFL Media Group and will work closely with many colleagues across the League and 32 Clubs in departments including NFL Network, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications and Business Development. This is a contract position.
Have a detailed understanding and vision of content opportunities and operations in the digital media landscape (e.g., digital applications such as website and apps, live streaming and VOD content access across connective devices) with the ability to help facilitate the promotion of content on multiple platforms
Review, analyze, and gain an understanding of major sports and digital trends, clubs, and best practices across the NFL targeted markets; proactively communicate these trends to the group and make recommendations as appropriate for new engagement tactics
Work directly with Club Social Marketing, Club Business Development, and Club Marketing to strategically improve the digital content processes and opportunities for Clubs, and to activate League-wide digital initiatives, product opportunities and partner programs
Provide in-depth guidance, best practices, and workflow optimizations for all tent-pole events (NFL Draft, Pro Bowl, Combine) and strategic initiatives (NFL33 program, etc.), and provide detailed pre and post analysis to continually improve Club-created media and content; comfortable and confident in presenting to senior leadership across League and Clubs
Determine target goals and objectives for tentpole events, strategic initiatives and Club growth; identify appropriate performance measures for each objective and work with all applicable clubs to reach these goals; update stakeholders on growth progress throughout the year
Attend major tentpole events (as needed) and serve as a liaison between League and Club representatives in attendance; provide on-site logistics support to ensure seamless experience for media teams
Actively develop internal and external relationships to help support strategic content opportunities for Clubs.
Support senior management in overall media strategy initiatives, including creation of comprehensive and cohesive presentations
Collaborate across various different groups including product development, analytics and research
3-5 years related professional experience within Digital Media, preferably with a Sports League or Entertainment Media company
Bachelor's degree required
Proficiency in key department analytics platforms (i.e. Adobe Analytics and YouTube Analytics)
Deep understanding of YouTube Studio (Monetization, Channel strategy, Analytics dashboards)
Experience working closely with digital content (e.g., Episodic, Branded, Short-Form, Podcasts)
Have a strong understanding of media trends, evolution of platforms/consumption, and understand the business dynamics/models of media properties
Knowledge of overall media landscape with direct experience in digital content and streaming media
Familiarity with audience segmentation and digital platform distribution

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week
