Summary

The Graphics team is looking for a seasonal employee to design and animate motion graphics for television broadcast. Essential duties include developing concepts, generating (often times multiple) iterations of a “look”. Responsible for designing and animating logos, style frames, creating 2D and/or 3D content. This position works directly with the Graphics Department Art Director and/or Creative Director.

Essential Functions

  • Design/Animate Motion Graphics according to the needs or demands of the various NFL Network shows.

  • Under the direction of the Art Director, generate designs and motion graphics to be used in NFL Network shows.

  • Perform the duties of designing both 2D and 3D images

  • Possess a strong sense of creativity and imagination

  • Under the direction of the Art Director, work together to obtain the desired look/effect of the Creative Director

  • Proficiency in various software tools such as Cinema 4D, After Effects, and Photoshop is essential.

  • Strong user knowledge and proficiency in each software category mentioned as well as knowledge and understanding of Typography.

Required Education and Experience

  • Proficient knowledge of Cinema 4D, After Effects and Photoshop.

  • Proficiency in creating GUI style animated graphics preferred.

  • Knowledge of football as it pertains to sports graphics preferred.

  • Capable of working within the guidelines of an existing graphics package to maintain consistency and quality

  • Must have excellent organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of 2D & 3D design is imperative.

  • Must be flexible, deadline driven, a great collaborator and must be able to confidently deliver graphics with complete accuracy

  • Must adhere to existing workflow and file structure

Preferred Education and Experience

  • College Graduate or comparable experience in broadcast television.

  • Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience working in broadcast graphics production

  • Demonstrated experience using Cinema 4D, Adobe Photoshop & After Effects.

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics

Ideal individual will be capable of taking initiative, following department processes and procedures. He/she should have a keen eye and remarkable sense of confidence when it comes to design and animation.

Expected Hours of Work

  • Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends as required during certain times of the year.

  • This is a 7 month seasonal position
