The NFL is looking for a passionate product manager who will be responsible for evangelizing and driving the use of fan-facing data and statistics in the NFL’s digital product ecosystem and leading the delivery of new experiences that take advantage of the League’s unique data assets.
Data and statistics are an increasingly important part of the football fan’s experience and as such are a core component of what NFL products must deliver. As the Product Manager for data and stats experiences, you will execute your product vision to continuously improve how the NFL leverages data and statistics across all of the NFL’s digital products such as mobile apps, websites and connected TV devices, doing so in lockstep with your product and technology team colleagues. You will be asked to understand the fan and how they use data and statistics to enjoy and understand the game, go deep on their favorite teams, players, matchups and more. You will build an in-depth understanding of the NFL’s data and stats assets and connect those assets to customer needs through compelling experiences that deliver timely, accurate, useful, and insightful stats and tools.
You have demonstrated experience leading digital product initiatives from start-to-finish and developing product opportunities focused on driving key metrics around engagement, conversion, and retention. You are detail-oriented and someone who relentlessly drives product improvements through user testing, data analysis, and A/B testing. You also understand the nuance between a metrics-driven approach and an opinion-based approach to the overall product development process. You are a user at heart and have strong opinions on providing the best user experience possible to football fans everywhere.
This is a position that requires someone who is a self-starter with excellent communication skills who can develop a unique product vision. More importantly, you can sell the vision both internally and externally to rally stakeholders, partners, and your coworkers around a shared set of goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a plan for continuously improving the use of football data and statistics across the NFL’s digital media properties.
Serve as the Product Lead for stats-driven products and product features.
Understand user needs, evolving market trends, technology innovations, and competitive offerings to grow and develop new features and capabilities.
Communicate product needs through the collection and creation of functional specifications, business requirements, user stories, and data analysis.
Build fruitful partnerships with your fellow product managers, engineers, designers, project managers, product operations team members, business stakeholders and collaborate with them daily.
Partner with business development teams to ensure smooth delivery of NFL contractual requirements.
Ensure products are in line with the overall digital strategy and support broad NFL business goals.
Manage the complete product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical implementation, using analytics to inform project priorities.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Product Management experience working in consumer technology or digital media
Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize requirements across diverse functional areas and convert them into a product roadmap.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and the conviction to influence and lead without direct authority.
Working knowledge of software analytics, reporting, and usage tracking software.
Remarkable attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a creative, deadline-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of sports and digital sports products.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of software deployment mechanics
Experience with design software such as Figma, Sketch, etc.
Experience with JIRA / Confluence or similar software development management tools
Experience working with distributed development teams
