NFL Media seeks a Manager, Technical Digital Production – Podcast and Crossplatform to lead a team of editors and production specialists. The manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, overseeing, and reviewing all edits and sponsored tape elements during pre and post-production for multi-platform shows. This role will oversee the delivery of show compilations and sponsored content to all stakeholders including FAST, DTC, Podcast, iHeart, O&O, Network, Social, YouTube, and AVOD. This role coordinates tape between network editors, producers, and specialists, and acts as the media delivery administrator for the team. The manager represents our team with key internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Additionally, this role oversees all ENG production for Podcast and the live digital content group. The manager is responsible for understanding the project goals, scope, timeline, and all production team and equipment needs. The manager must be well versed in working with talent and script creation, developing new ideas and projects, and serving as a producer, writer, and director for sketches.

Essential Functions

  • Lead post-production for live-to-tape shows

  • Oversee graphics and show fixes

  • Manage music videos, bumps, VO’s, sketches, and various segments for our digital shows (and occasionally for network reairs)

  • Implement and develop new techniques to elevate our VFX capabilities and editing skills across the team

  • Manage a team of camera operators and audio operators for remote segments and sketches

  • Write and develop new segments and feature pieces alongside talent and producers

  • Quality control lead for all shows

  • Reviewing and approving all content

  • Handling exports and uploads for VOD and DCL Live/SVG

  • Managing final deliverables

Required Education and Experience

  • Must have a solid track record of developing revenue-generating workflows and processes to create repeatable concepts that drive audience engagement across all properties.

  • Experience overseeing a team and reviewing sponsored content before delivery of the final product.

  • Lead with a growth mindset to develop practices to repackage and monetize existing content across all platforms, FAST, Podcast, and iHeart.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • BA/BS preferred

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience

  • Proven track record of leading high functioning teams

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics

  • Thorough knowledge of all digital, social, and linear technical platforms

  • Detailed technical knowledge of digital and television production processes

  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost report process

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and a track record of leadership ability

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Delegating assignments, roles, and deadlines

  • Advise team members on current and evolving post-production workflow procedures

  • Train and oversee production staff development
