The Manager, Studio Operations is responsible for the management of Studio based budget, planning, logistics for NFL Media. The Manager will work in a collaborative fashion with members of NFL Media Production and Production Management as well as cross-department members (e.g. – Production, Production Management, Finance, Human Resources, etc.) to ensure strategic planning and decision-making regarding budgetary and operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • A member of the team in strategic planning for studio operations to include budget development, technical staffing, and oversight of logistics.

  • Manage, monitor, and track costs for operational budgets including daily purchases, transmission bookings, multiple period accounting costs, and all logistical costs.

  • Continually work with various departments (Production Administration, HR, Accounts Payable, Finance, Vendor Management Office, etc.) to ensure all NFL Media policy changes are properly communicated and executed.

  • Ensure accurate tracking, reporting and forecasting of assigned budgets, results, and statements, on a quarterly basis. Identifying to senior team, areas for budget risks and opportunities.

  • Fostering the collaboration with the other internal departments and external entities to maximize efficiencies (e.g. – Production, Engineering, etc.).

  • Collaboration with other department leaders to execute programming and production creative efforts for all productions.

  • Assist with logistical & budgetary development, analysis and execution for new production initiatives and ideas.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or equivalent required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a production environment

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing and forecasting budgets

  • Proficient in MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of Oracle, Kronos and Concur is beneficial

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a team

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics

  • Prior production experience

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, excellent organization and communication skills, strong time management ability

Travel:

  • Limited remote production travel may be required

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
