Responsibilities

  • Serve as HCM Solutions Architect, leading overall vision for HCM systems including use, enhancement, and continued evolution in support of the HR function
  • Collaborate with internal and external (managed service) resources to maintain and enhance the overall product and HR processes
  • Ensure that HR systems and processes are compliant with regulatory standards
  • Drive process improvement within the HR Centers of Excellence utilizing HCM systems; focus on automating data controls, reporting and simplifying current processes to be as efficient as possible
  • Develop, coach, and motivate employees to adopt and fully utilize HR systems
  • Manage portfolio of HR systems, ensuring that projects are delivered in a timely fashion
  • Lead / manage the quarterly upgrade process, advising on new functionality and identifying opportunities for the NFL to utilize new features and enhance business processes
  • Partner with NFL Business Analysts to facilitate the documentation of business requirements, review functional specifications, assess impact analysis on HR Operations, Centers of Expertise, and other HR functions and processes. Will also facilitate the development and review of comprehensive test plans with associated results, overseeing testing and issue resolution as it relates to HR system projects.
  • Partner with NFL IT to determine HR systems project prioritization discussions
  • Interface with NFL IT project managers and stakeholders to successfully coordinate HR technology implementation efforts, including identification/discovery, design, construct / build, test, and go-live / stabilization phases
  • Foster and maintain successful, productive working relationships with NFL systems business partner stakeholders (finance / payroll, information security, information technology, and vendors / consultants)
  • Manage overall HR portfolio including: Core HR, Goals, Performance, Learning, Workforce Compensation, and Recruiting; Serve as SME for Payroll, Time and Scheduling; manage ancillary systems such as Case Management, Integrations with background check, I-9, other vendors
  • Assist in Level 2 + 3 Super User support for HR, Payroll, Absence, Comp, Talent, Reporting and determine delegation of issues to managed service support team
  • Perform Level 2 + 3 Super User support for Integrations and determine delegation of issues to managed service support team
  • Level 2 Super User support for Time and Attendance and scheduling
  • Analyze quarterly release notes, develop project and test plans for upgrades and quarterly patches
  • Collaborates with the HRIS Manager and other HRIS resources

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in a HR systems role required
  • Applicable HR certification strongly preferred
  • Management or supervisory experience in a dynamic environment required
  • Experience with managing third party resources, offshore resources, and vendor relationship management
  • Deep experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including HR, Payroll, Reporting, and preferably experience with integrations
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn Kronos and MediaPulse
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of data privacy issues, laws and regulations associated with HR operations
  • Expert level reporting skills, including SQL and BI Publisher
  • Strong experience with Fast Formulas, Personalizations / Page Composer, and Oracle security roles
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integrations Cloud (OIC) or other Middleware
  • Familiarity with Oracle Analytics (Fusion Analytics Warehouse)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Recruiting
  • Experience with Oracle Compensation
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Talent Management
  • Experience with Kronos Time, Absence, Attestations and Scheduling

  • Must possess strong relationship building and communication skills, with proven ability to successfully collaborate with business partners including HR, Finance / Payroll, IT, Information Security, and leadership
  • Business acumen and emotional intelligence are a must; strong team player
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; able to identify trends and anomalies in large data sets
  • Highly effective written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent judgment skills and willingness to take accountability and ownership
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple project teams and being successful in a fast-paced, team environment

Travel

  • Travel required up to 10% during peak project times

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week
  • FLSA exempt
