The NFL is looking for a motivated Product Management leader who will be responsible for defining and executing the long-term Product strategy for several critical NFL services. First, the Director, Product Services will oversee our API & Identity ecosystems, defining our Product strategy and working cross-functionally to ensure that these key services are properly maintained and are able to consistently evolve to the meet the needs of NFL Owned and Operated products (NFL+, NFL.com, NFL Mobile, Fantasy, CTV, Clubs, etc.) and NFL partners. In addition to managing the evolution of our login/registration platform and content/football data APIs, the Director, Product Services will play a critical role in defining and executing the long-term strategy for the integration of NFL’s proprietary Next Generations Statistics (NGS) into NFL properties, with a focus on driving user engagement and increased conversions for our Direct-to-Consumer products.
Manage efforts to consistently evolve NFL SSO platform and extend it to all League & Club digital/mobile properties and direct-to-consumer products
Identify & develop personalized experiences that encourage sign in/registration
Responsible for intaking new data feature requests from API consumers for inclusion in our Product Backlog
Collaborate with data providers to gain access to new data points for ingestion and exposure within our API offerings
Evangelize and reinforce the core tenets of our APIs: a) that they are building blocks/domain specific endpoints and b) consumers are expected to make multiple calls for various pieces of data
Define requirements and prioritize new features/attributes to expose in the API
Expand API documentation and resources to make the API more self-service
Be the NFL Product Management team’s subject matter expert on all NFL APIs, as well the specific integrations of our APIs with NFL properties and partners
Define vision and roadmap for integration of NFL’s Next Generation Stats into NFL’s Owned & Operated properties
Understand user needs, evolving market trends, technology innovations, and competitive offerings to grow and develop new products and features
Communicate product needs through the collection and creation of functional specifications, business requirements, user stories, and data analysis
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and work across multiple teams to implement solutions
Ensure products are in line with the overall digital strategy and support broad NFL business goals
Own and manage the complete product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical implementation, using analytics to inform project priorities
7+ years of Product Management experience working in consumer technology or digital media
Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
Remarkable attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a creative, deadline-driven environment
Expertise in modern forms of product discovery, planning, and development
Experience working with Identity (login/registration) platforms
Experience working with APIs and content management systems
Experience working closely with technical resources, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong communication and collaboration skills, proven ability to build and maintain relationships and to influence and lead without direct authority
Ability to make decisions quickly and independently with minimal oversight
Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize requirements across diverse functional areas and convert them into a product roadmap and vision
Experience working in an agile environment
3 years management experience
Passion for sports, especially football

Full-time NFL employees are required to work at least 40 hours per week.
This role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include some weekends and holidays.
