The NFL’s Club Business Development department (Club BD) supports the 32 clubs in delivering direct local value and best-in-class fan experiences via data-driven insights and innovation. In addition to working with the clubs, Club BD works cross-functionally to guide key strategic initiatives at a League level. The team utilizes a combination of analytics and functional expertise in sales, marketing and more to develop 'next practices' and facilitates the sharing of 'best practices' between clubs.
The Director, Local Revenue Optimization & Strategy, will lead a cross functional initiative to identify opportunities to optimize club revenue and drive sustainable, local business improvements. In addition, this individual will support critical strategic initiatives both within the Club Business Development group as well as cross-organizational that will inform club fan engagement, ticketing, and gameday experience strategies, among others.
This role will report into the VP, Strategy & Analytics of Club Business Development.
Lead local revenue optimization initiative across League and clubs, collaborating with League and club stakeholders, and external vendors
Develop mechanism for which to measure club business success and track progress towards business objectives
Drive local business analysis and strategic recommendations in coordination with Club Business Development’s club consulting team
Analyze ticket sales, pricing, local sponsorship, premium seating, media (digital and traditional), fan experience and staffing data to develop actionable insights, best practices, and help inform club and league strategy
Collaborate with all NFL League Office departments that touch club business, including Club Digital, Performance Marketing, Consumer Insights, Data & Analytics, Sponsorship and Consumer Products to develop and/or execute against critical initiatives to support club business (e.g., fan engagement program, ticketing business intelligence platform, emerging technology and platforms, etc.)
Support the analysis and build of club business benchmark reports
Develop strong, respectful relationships and build credibility with Club and League Office business contacts
Develop League meeting materials that touch club business initiatives
7-10 years of experience in management consulting, strategy & analytics, project management, or related fields
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience (projects and/or people)
Preferred Qualifications, Skills/Knowledge
Excellent communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills, including ability to derive insights from data / analytics / research, visualize those findings, and present to all levels of an organization

Full Time Position (at least 40 hours per week)
