NBA Digital’s assets include NBA TV, NBA.com, the NBA App and NBA League Pass. The NBA has created one of the largest social media communities in the world, with 2.1 billion likes and followers globally across all league, team, and player platforms. Through NBA Cares, the league addresses important social issues by working with internationally recognized youth-serving organizations that support education, youth and family development, and health-related causes.

Position Summary:

The NBA's Marketing Partnerships & Media group develops and manages marketing, media and merchandising partnerships with some of the world's most recognizable brands. The department creates and executes marketing and merchandising platforms tailored to driving each partner's business around the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League and USA Basketball.

This position will provide executive administrative support to three senior leaders within this group, the Head of Marketing Partnerships, the Head of Commercial Development and Media, and the Head of Commercial Management and Integrated Partnerships while exercising a high level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, thought leadership and responsiveness.

Major Responsibilities:

Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the collective executives including:

  • Effectively manages an extremely active calendar of meetings, speaking engagements and additional commitments while ensuring schedules are followed and respected Identifies meeting, travel, etc. conflicts and provides well-thought-out solutions and recommendations

  • Acts as a gatekeeper to create win-win situations for direct access to leaders' time

  • Completes expense reports in a timely and accurate fashion

  • Primary liaison for all technology needs

  • Will need to regularly communicate with the IT department and must be proficient in administering virtual meetings across numerous platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

  • Researches and books detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas accurately and efficiently

  • Compiles documents for travel-related and daily meetings

  • Accurately provides speaking engagement materials to partners

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies (Partners, SLT, Department Staff etc.)

  • Owns the planning and execution of senior staff and full staff meetings where appropriate

  • Assists with logistics and execution of additional Global Partnerships workshops

  • Creates materials as needed: PowerPoint presentations, confidential documents, Executive Bios, etc. with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Manages Department Cards for timely and accurate submission, includes accurate coding across all leagues

  • Manages and organizes key documents and contact information for leaders' across NBA information platforms (G-Drive/Box/CRM)

  • Manages Partner Gifting for tentpole events (notably All-Star and Finals)

  • Acts at all times with the utmost discretion as it relates to confidential materials, meetings detail and content, and the comings and goings of the President

  • When possible, identifies, designs and implements department process innovations and training tools

  • Acts in a professional and ethical manner

  • Ability to exercise good judgement, execute tasks with discretion and maintain calm under pressure

  • Ability to work independently, with little to no direction, from conception to completion

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Salary Range:

  • $30 to $33 per hour
