Position Summary:
Provide production management support for the Next Gen Telecast team. This includes budget creation, analysis and management as well as coordinating the acquisition and/or use of content to enhance Next Gen platforms. The candidate will have to manage frequent communication streams across internal groups as well as external partners/clients with a goal of finding efficiencies in all areas.
Major Responsibility:
Develop detailed project plans for product and platform development workstreams, as well as key initiatives across the organization needed for multiple Next Gen Initiatives
Provide process management support to the Next Gen Telecast production lead.
Liaise directly with Regional Sports Networks (RSN) regarding new content crafted for their respective markets.
Build a tracking system on what is used and its value to the NBA
Help to handle a cross-departmental system to consolidate content trackers that can be used across multiple telecasts
Work with internal department leads to track staff that supports Next Gen/Optimal telecasts
Lead projects from beginning to end, process invoices, manage resources, and build project tracking documents
Partner with functional stakeholders and Legal to drive execution of key agreements, contracts, and releases
Assist with various operational and administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Passion, interest and some understanding of digital media/entertainment landscape, including emerging platforms and technologies
Demonstrated excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the NBA, WNBA and NBA G League
Knowledge of budgeting and crafting estimates
Strong attention to detail and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Experience Needed:
2+ years of relevant experience Project management, business operations, or sports experience preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree
