Position Summary:

This role is responsible for being a key liaison and driver of Partner Management objectives for the NBA 2K League through managing the day-to-day partner relationships and oversee activation efforts for existing partner accounts. This role will also help grow and retain the NBA 2K League portfolio brands including league, team, event, and cobranded partner executions.

Major Responsibility:

  • Oversee fulfillment of all NBA 2K League marketing partnership obligations

  • Refine, develop, and maintain necessary processes to keep the league's priorities on pace within shared partnership services

  • Contribute to the development of our brand and partnership story/pitch

  • Vet and create new assets and platforms in anticipation of growing demand amongst non-endemic brands and partners

  • Work with senior leadership on budget development and pacing particularly as it relates to grassroots events and hospitality

  • Work across the organization to ensure input and approvals are obtained

  • Lead the effort to devise a comprehensive, ongoing research and data story for the brand and our partnerships (awareness, adoption, advocacy, etc)

  • Manage execution of NBA 2K League programs, with a focus on partner activation

  • Serve as key liaison and day-to-day contact with GPM

  • Work closely with account teams on partner objectives and their alignment with program objectives

  • Compile and provide internal updates on current partnerships and deliverables

  • Keep records and recommendations for internal and external purposes

  • Communicate key issues internally via status reports and meeting updates

  • Develop and foster positive relationships with internal departments, managing partner objectives to key NBA2KL priorities

  • Participate in presentations and client meetings

  • Collaborate with the NBA's Partnership Development team and other divisions to create presentations, proposals and other materials to engage existing partners to participate in new and existing programming

  • Track and research key developments and trends in event sponsorship and marketing

  • Assist in management of event driven partnerships, developing strong relationships and building credibility with external partners Identify areas of opportunity and develop upsell proposals and renewals for partners throughout the season

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 4-6 years of account management, partnerships, or sports marketing experience

  • Broad knowledge of event marketing, experiential marketing, media, brand management, promotions - conception through execution and event management

  • A successful track record of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external clients

  • Analytical experience a plus

  • Creative thinker Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills

  • Capability to manage a project team Ability to creatively find solutions to problems in a high-pressure environment

  • Successful track record in attaining and exceeding goals and objectives Experience and knowledge within esports a plus


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

Salary Range:

  • $100,000-$120,000 per year
