Position Summary:

The Membership Program Manager role will serve as a business stakeholder and driver of the NBA ID program within the League's owned & operated initiatives as well as with NBA Teams. This role will be focused on executing strategy, driving operational elements, contributing to analyses, and building upon learnings to enrich future offerings. Collaborate across the organization and teams to contribute to a truly cross-functional, ecosystem-wide fan offering attracting and growing the next generation of NBA fans.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Deliver NBA ID centered executions and opportunities for fans at & around NBA events like Global Games, All-Star, Draft, Summer League, and other member-focused moments.

  • Work closely with all members of the Membership team to coordinate efforts across the group, recognizing areas of efficiencies and opportunity Manage the planning, set-up, and operations of select program rewards (like Free Ticket Tuesdays, All-Star sweepstakes, NBA Finals activations, etc) provided directly through partnership with internal NBA teams (i.e. NBA Events team, Fantasy & Gaming, Team Marketing & Business Operations, among others)

  • Manage the integration of NBA teams into the league's membership program, including operational planning & support for proofs of concept and broader roll out; periodic and on-going opportunity analyses; as well as contribute to strategy for future planning and scaling

  • Contribute to data-based analyses conducted regularly on various aspects of the NBA ID program

  • Develop presentation materials to help establish, further, and secure program initiatives Provide general support across partner offerings for the NBA ID program

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 4-6 years of experience with strong Marketing/Strategy background

  • Experience in planning, implementing, and driving multiple projects at once

  • Strong project management capabilities Ability to comprehensively execute strategy

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and foster key business relationships

  • Excellent time management, verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Detail oriented with a desire for seeing projects through to completion

  • Display an aptitude for taking initiative to go above and beyond

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment


  • Bachelor's Degree Required, business or marketing focus preferred


  • $100,000 to $125,000 per year
