Located within five hours (300 miles) of 25 percent of the U.S. population, Watkins Glen International is the premier road racing facility in North America, three-times voted “Best NASCAR Track” by readers of USA Today. The Glen hosts a diverse portfolio of premier sports car, open wheel and stock car races throughout the year.

Ticket Operations Event Staff will assist the Ticket Operations and Guest Services Department throughout the 2023 WGI Season, and work with a variety of different areas at WGI's major events including the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Finger Lakes Wine Festival, and NASCAR's Go Bowling at The Glen.

Duties:

  • Secure and distribute ticketing inventory.

  • Assist customers at Ticketing Windows and Entry Gates.

  • Assist Ticket Operations department with tasks in ProVenue ticketing platform.

  • Provide quality customer service for existing customers.

  • Manage Event Staff when needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Two years completed towards a Business Administration or Sport Management Degree Preferred

  • Customer service experience (retail, direct, corporate) preferred but not required.

  • PC literate and strong organizational skills

  • Possess ability to demonstrate exceptional guest service skills

  • Able to work non traditional hours occasionally (nights, weekends, holidays)

  • Must be able to work ALL major event weekends including the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen 6/22/23-6/25/23, Finger Lakes Wine Festival 7/6/23-7/9/23, and NASCAR Weekend at The Glen 8/17/23-8/20/23.
