The Senior Coordinator, Media Planning & Client Marketing is a key member of the Digital Ad Sales team focused on supporting digital advertising activities throughout the sales development process. The Senior Coordinator works to facilitate advertising campaigns from start to finish, including ideation, implementation, and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Interface with Digital Sales Team on team new, revised, and existing digital media campaigns

  • Spearhead client digital media campaigns from planning through implementation and reporting phases

  • Lead collaboration with the sales, platform, graphic design, editorial, social, Partnership Marketing, Business Development and other internal teams to ideate and conceptualize new and customized programs for partner campaigns

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to vet concepts, navigate program logistics, communicate timelines and identify costs/budgets for sales opportunities

  • Identify and recommend media plan elements for sales opportunities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels to grow and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the industry as well as client/brand business needs and objectives

  • Layout timelines for project implementation and provide oversight on delivery/execution and reporting

  • Work in conjunction with internal stakeholders and teams to understand the platform and brand guidelines as they pertain to digital media and advertising opportunities

  • Lead kick-off calls with Sales, Revenue Operations, Content and other relevant specialists to communicate pertinent information required to launch and manage campaigns

  • Oversee digital campaigns to ensure communications and deliverables are met once a program has been sold by sales team; attend weekly meetings to discuss the status of digital campaigns, share updates from sales and provide recommendations to address any issues

  • Develop presentations for sales requests and post-campaign reports and optimizations on assigned programs

  • Assist with partner recap and summary reports as needed by overall team.

  • Own weekly social media campaign tracking document and work with NASCAR Analytics and Insights team on reporting deliverables

  • Regularly use Operative campaign management software and enter campaign orders as needed

  • Travel: 5% including weekends

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of two (2) years current digital media or sales development / marketing services experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Excellent written and verbal skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and social media platforms.

  • Operative Campaign Management Experience

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate well through digital means. Employee will work with a remote sales team and ability to communicate through email, virtual meetings, or phone calls is crucial.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone presence and effective business writing abilities

  • Team Player

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • A working knowledge and understanding of Digital Media Advertising programs and campaigns is preferred.
