Seasonal Fan Ambassador Specialist will assist in managing all 35+ Fan Ambassadors (volunteers) for most of the 2023 major events, including the NASCAR Weekend at Watkins Glen International.
Duties:
Manage 35+ Fan Ambassadors (volunteers)
Use past notes, and plans to craft a new Fan Ambassador program
Schedule, plan and execute a half day training program with Golf Cart Training included
Assist with the creation, development and implementation of the Fan Ambassador scheduled for each Major Event
Plan and implement a way to find and on-board new Fan Ambassadors
Provide quality customer service for existing Fan Ambassadors
Receive feedback from Fan Ambassadors and make changes for each event
Provide quality support and guidance to each Fan Ambassador leading up and during each event weekend
Ensure Fan Ambassadors are provided substantial information during the season and leading up to events
Assist in the planning and executing of an end of the year Thank you Party
Qualifications:
Two years completed towards a Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or Sport Management Degree
Customer service experience (retail, direct, corporate) is helpful
PC literate and strong organizational skills
Possess ability to demonstrate exceptional guest service skills
Able to work nontraditional hours occasionally (nights, weekends, holidays)
Must be able to work ALL major event weekends including the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen (June 22-25), Finger Lakes Wine Festival (July 7-9), and NASCAR Weekend at The Glen (August 18-20).
