Nestled on more than 1,400 acres in the Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is a track rich in racing history. It has been the love of NASCAR racing and the thrill of a great time that has made it a favorite of race fans and drivers alike for more than 50 years. Michigan International Speedway has more than 12 campground and is the state of Michigan’s largest registered campground. In addition to two great weekends of racing, the speedway is home to events throughout the year including the MIS Backyard Hockey Tournament, Faster Horses Festival and Nite Lites.
Seasonal Position March 13th to September 15th
Excellent Phone Etiquette and Customer Service Skills
Strong Computer Skills with ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and work within Web based applications
Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Ability to maintain spreadsheets and files
Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and able to multi-task
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Processing orders in Ticketing System
Making outbound calls to patrons as needed
Day to day Admin Front Desk/Ticket Operations
Greeting/assisting all guests
Shipping/Receiving/Daily Office Mail
Record incoming UPS, Fed-X and USPS packages daily & communicate to recipients
Utilize SendPro online to ship all outgoing packages/mail as needed
Assist with Event preparation for Ticket Operations
Assist all departments with special projects as needed
Some nights and weekends required per event schedule
