The Chicago Street Race is the first-ever NASCAR Cup Series street race. Located in downtown Chicago, the event will take competitors past and through many of the city’s most renowned downtown landmarks on Michigan Avenue, South Columbus Drive, South Lake Shore Drive and the start-finish line near Buckingham Fountain. The Cup Series will be joined by the NASCAR Xfinity Series as part of a one-of-a-kind sports and entertainment festival headlined by Miranda Lambert, The Chainsmokers, The Black Crowes and Charley Crockett over the Fourth of July Weekend on July 1-2, 2023.
Position Purpose
This position will support the Chicago Street Race branded Promotional Car at Chicago Street Race Street Team public appearances. Representatives will credibly and responsibly represent oneself as the face of Chicago Street Race to current and prospective customers. This is a temporary seasonal position and hours will be dependent on the appearance schedule.
Responsibilities/ Duties/ Functions/ Tasks
Enthusiastically interact with and educate the public on NASCAR + Chicago Street Race history, information, and ticket opportunities
Assist in the set up and tear down of displays
Ensure that display is appropriately supplied with promotional materials and giveaway items
Actively collect prospects for future email campaigns
Be an expert on the products and services offered by Chicago Street Race
Assist with a variety of Event Experience activations on race weekend
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
Currently living in Chicago, IL
Post high school education required or equivalent experience
Exceptional work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a passion for the sports / motorsports industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
