NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Account Executive, Entertainment Marketing based in our Los Angeles, California office.

The Account Executive, Entertainment Marketing is responsible for identifying, creating and facilitating marketing opportunities between members of the entertainment industry and NASCAR.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Track, capture, and quantify social media content from guests at track; determine and report on ROI to relevant stakeholders

  • Manage relationship with third-party social media tracking companies.

  • Partner with research team to gain a comprehensive view of the NASCAR current fan and future fan; use gleaned information to develop marketing strategies around talent and entertainment at events

  • Plan, manage and execute at-track activations and talent hosting; manage schedules and logistics for at-track talent appearances

  • Create and maintain an in-depth and up-to-date release schedule list as it relates to TV, Film, and Album releases as well as films/shows shooting in race markets; analyze, identify and recommend relevant opportunities based on race schedules and NASCAR events

  • Manage travel arrangements and requests for high-profile guests; ensuring a positive experience is had, while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion

  • Create, design and track invitations for major talent-driven events; work closely with Design team to achieve desired aesthetics and NASCAR brand goals

  • Create and submit imagery requests to third-party photography service to ensure desired images are captured; review and analyze captured images post-event and distribute as appropriate

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of pop culture news; research relevant pop culture, influencers, & music

  • Manage submission and procurement of necessary credentials for talent, following internal guidelines and procedures

  • Build and create presentation decks for internal and external stakeholders

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • A background in the entertainment/music industry preferred.

  • Prior experience placing, securing or working with celebrity talent is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to collaborate across a wide range of partners and stakeholders

  • Ability to function in a high-speed and quickly evolving environment; able to react quickly and adapt to changing priorities in real time

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations

  • A working understanding and background in motorsports preferred, though not required

  • A working understanding of social media platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous and rigid deadlines

  • Ability to travel up to 15%, including some weekends
