Our Guest Experience team provides a world class fan experience putting service at the heart of everything they do. As an Usher, you’ll help our guests enter our arena and get safely seated into their appropriate section. You are empowered to bring our vision to life by exceeding our guest’s expectations.

As an Usher, YOU WILL:

  • Welcome guests in and guide efficiently. Our arenas are vast and you’ll work in different areas such as stairwells, escalators, elevator or lobbies ensuring guests are in their authorized areas. You’ll be responsible for verifying and validating tickets upon entry, providing directions to the appropriate areas within the building and may even transport guests personally to wheelchair assessable areas upon request.

  • Embrace the opportunity to make memories. You will respond to all of our guest’s needs appropriately based on the situation at hand; including being a calm presence in case of an emergency. You are another set of eyes and ears, ensuring our guests are complying with the rules of our arena and event spaces. Most importantly, you use every opportunity to build relationships with our guests.

  • Are a cultural centerpiece. Your interaction with our employees, fans and guests is constant. You welcome people in, help them find their way seat, and ensure their visit to our campus is memorable. People see you as a helpful, supportive resource and a critical part of our team and the Wild’s culture.

  • Solve problems as you see them. Our teams are focused on getting better every day and you’re at the center of all we do. We expect you don’t wait for permission, but seek out solutions to problems.

  • Person of Driving Age. Sorry kids, you've got to be 16 or older to get this gig.

  • Trusted Teammate. Our team runs on relationships. Confidentiality, professionalism and discretion are at the heart of building strong bonds across all our guests. But, that’s not enough. People see you as reliable and responsible because you are there for your team when they need you and your actions speak for themselves.

  • Focused Executor. We get work done, and smile while doing it. Everything we do touches people, so flawless execution is non-negotiable. Our work can be fast-paced and it can be easy to lose sight of the details, but that’s where the magic is at. With ruthless prioritization, we focus on getting things done quickly and flawlessly. Of course, we’re not perfect, so when mistakes are made, we step up, take responsibility and issue meaningful apologies when we’re wrong.

  • Servant Leader. At the Wild, everything we do is grounded in serving. We serve our organization, each other, our fans and our community. Leadership is not a rank, it’s not about being in charge; it’s about taking care of those in our charge. We inspire those around us to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. Your high proclivity to smile and empathize drives you to proactively respond to guest’s needs.

  • Listen to you. We need your thoughts, ideas and passion to help make this the best team in sports and entertainment. You talk, we’ll listen.

  • Treat you like an adult. We will trust you to get the work done in a way that makes sense for you. We measure output and impact.

  • Support you. We promise you'll be surrounded by people equally committed to the Minnesota Sports and Entertainment organization and to our Minnesota Wild. You won’t find more passionate people all focused on creating a Greater State of Hockey. Go Wild!

  • Commit to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. We drive social change and foster inclusivity by providing a safe, positive and welcoming environment for you, all community members and employees regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, background or experience. THE FINE PRINT:
