The Iowa Wild are looking for their next part-time in-arena host. This highly visible, on-camera cast member will engage with 10,000 Wild fans during key moments of the game, including but not limited to, pre-game, timeouts, and intermissions. Whether they are assisting with contests & promotions or interacting with ticketholders, their voice, personality, and presence will need to effortlessly draw people in. Together with game-day staff, they’ll help deliver the #1 fan experience in the AHL. This seasonal, part-time position reports to the Manager of Game Presentation.
As our In-Game Host, YOU WILL:
Execute all in-game promotions with energy and excitement: Our in-game hosts are a crucial part of the fan experience, and you will join our talented group in finding ways to make sure you are helping build energy at each game. Both on and off-camera, you’ll prepare each night to smoothly run any in-game promotions from talking to fans during a promotion to introducing our corporate sponsor, you’ll ensure our fans continue to come back for more.
Connect with our fans: As an on-camera personality at our games, you will develop a connection with our fans and become someone they associate with the in-game experience. Your personality, energy, and professionalism will shine through in everything you do.
Constantly look to innovate: You will always look for ways to improve your area and find opportunities to let your personality shine through while making sure to keep our fans engaged. Utilizing data and talking to fans, you’ll bring your creative mind and vision that is focused on our fans' experience.,

THE FINE PRINT:

Must be 18+ years old at the time of application is required.
Experience working as on-camera talent is required, with a strong, clear vocal ability that’s suitable for in-arena. Prior experience working as a game host is a bonus.
A strong, clear vocal ability that’s suitable for in-arena and the ability to memorize lengthy scripts with complex names.
Knowledge of hockey is preferred.
The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, while being present at scheduled events is required.
