Overview:

The Sr. Manager, Game and Event Presentation will lead the Minnesota Vikings in delivering world-class, industry-leading live productions surrounding Vikings home games and tentpole events. The Sr. Manager will act as the day-to-day leader of Vikings productions, bringing together all the elements of live entertainment, video board production, and video/graphics creative to present a holistic, compelling presentation for all fans and stakeholders in attendance. The Sr. Manager will uphold the brand standards of the Minnesota Vikings, pushing the team to remain on the forefront of creative production. A key leader of the Entertainment Marketing team, the candidate will work alongside the Sr. Producer, Lifestyle and Entertainment Content to build meaningful culture and entertainment partnerships that tap into the star power of our players, empower the authentic fandom of key influencers, and harness entertainment industry relationships for cross-platform activations that break through the noise to earn new fans for the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Game and Event Presentation Leadership

  • Drive annual strategy for Game Presentation, guiding the team to identify cross-functional priorities that elevate the home game presentation and deliver on company objectives.

  • Oversee game and event content strategy and serve as the team authority on the minute-by-minute programming and execution of our games and tentpole events.

  • Work with Manager, Game and Event Creative to deliver to create and / or source a full complement of graphics and videos to deliver on gameday objectives.

  • Work with Entertainment Programming department to book and coordinate live entertainment partners on a game-by-game basis that elevate game experience and advance company and department goals.

  • Work with Camera Director, Vikings Production Operations department, and Stadium Production Operations to staff and execute technical functions of game days. Partner with subject matter experts and serve as the unifying visionary to keep everyone marching to the same beat.

  • Own gameday production format, and lead collaborative processes to design game productions as an empowered team. Serve as gameday show caller, dialing up the right elements at the right times to maximize fan experience and gameday atmosphere based on an unparalleled knowledge of strategy and planning processes.

  • Lead annual budget-planning to properly resource team priorities and objectives.

  • Work with Director, Events and broader Marketing organization to drive strategy and execution around tentpole event activation.

  • Lead strategic efforts surrounding off-season player shoots to support in-stadium video and graphic needs.

  • Lead the development of an annual sellable menu of stadium assets, and work collaboratively with Sales and Partnerships teams to match partners to mutually beneficial content and activations.

  • Oversee all gameday logistics for all entertainment groups and guests, and oversee a world-class hospitality experience for entertainers and entertainment guests.

  • Work with stadium operations to advance logistics around gameday activations. Form and execute plans for movements of all key entertainment personnel on a game-by-game basis.

  • Serve as a visible and vocal leader for the Game Presentation group and overall team on gamedays.

Lifestyle Content + Entertainment Marketing Department leadership

  • Work with Sr. Producer, Lifestyle and Entertainment Content to drive an integrated Entertainment industry relations strategy that will activate with pop culture celebrities and influencers across live, video, and other social/digital opportunities. Create systems to maximize our partnerships with celebrities, entertainers, and influencers to grow the Vikings brand.

  • Work with Sr. Producer, Lifestyle and Entertainment Content to create multi-platform strategies to reach new, targeted fan personas that grow the Vikings brand.

  • Work with Sr. Producer, Lifestyle and Entertainment Content to create off-season content strategies that tap into the bandwidth and skillsets of the full Entertainment Marketing team. Create a seasonal approach that allocates team bandwidth to Lifestyle content during slower off-season periods, and draws bandwidth from Lifestyle team to support Game and Event Presentation during season.

  • Work with Sr. Producer, Lifestyle and Entertainment Content and broader Game Presentation team to create live virtual off-shoots of tentpole events, creating a hybrid event structure that extends brand and reaches new fans.
