SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Game & Event Entertainment will serve a key leadership role in delivering world-class, industry-leading live productions surrounding Vikings home games and tent pole events. This Senior Manager role will lead live entertainment programming and activation for our home games and tent pole events, working as a leader of our award-winning Game and Event presentation team to support our biggest moments with our fans. On gamedays, the Sr. Manager will serve as our lead Field Producer, working alongside internal and external entertainment groups to execute the live entertainment elements of our Game Presentation. This position will also serve a key role in growing team relationships within the entertainment industry, broadening and growing our partnerships with celebrities, entertainers, and influencers to earn new fans for the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Game and Event Presentation Leadership

  • Lead Entertainment Programming efforts to book and coordinate live entertainment activations on a game-by-game, event-by-event basis that elevate game experience and advance company and department goals.

  • Work alongside the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, Viktor mascot program, and Skol Line (drum line) to form a unified, cohesive, and industry-leading live entertainment group.

  • Lead part-time crews to execute all elements of live entertainment, including coordinating with existing contractors and hiring / training new contractors.

  • Work with Game and Event Creative to concept, script, and produce original video content to support game and event programming.

  • Work with Camera Director, Vikings Production Operations department, and Stadium Production Operations to integrate live entertainment with the technical functions of game days.

  • Work with Director, Events and broader Marketing organization to drive strategy and execution around tentpole event activation.

  • Collaborate with broader game presentation team to develop an annual sellable menu of stadium assets, and work collaboratively with Sales and Partnerships teams to match partners to mutually beneficial content and activations.

  • Oversee all gameday logistics for all entertainment groups and guests, and oversee a world-class hospitality experience for entertainers and entertainment guests.

  • Work with stadium operations to advance logistics around gameday activations. Form and execute plans for movements of all key entertainment personnel on a game-by-game basis.

  • Serve as a visible and vocal leader for the Game Presentation group and overall team on gamedays.

  • Hire and manage an annual Game and Event Entertainment Associate to support the logistics of executing gamedays and special events.

Entertainment Marketing Department Leadership

  • Work within the broader Entertainment Marketing department to drive an integrated Entertainment industry relations strategy that will activate with celebrities and influencers across live, video, and other social/digital opportunities. Create systems to maximize our partnerships with celebrities, entertainers, and influencers to grow the Vikings brand.

  • Help to create multi-platform strategies to reach new, targeted fan personas that grow the Vikings brand.

  • Work with broader Entertainment Marketing team to create off-season content strategies that tap into the bandwidth and skillsets of the full Entertainment Marketing team.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five or more years of progressive experience within a fast-paced event, entertainment, or live production environment

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, a related field; or equivalent education and experience

  • Strong knowledge of entertainment marketing strategies

  • Ability to form relationships while brining diverse perspectives together under a compelling and cohesive vision

  • Ability to effectively communicate using multiple methods

  • Ability to work with highly confidential information and cliental

  • Excellent organization skills with acute attention to detail and accuracy
