The Graphic Designer & Marketing Photographer will be an integral part of True North Vikings Creative, the Minnesota Vikings in-house creative team, whose primary goal is to communicate the Vikings brand vision through all mediums. This role is a hybrid of graphic design and marketing photography; with the role being 80% design and 20% photography.

As a Graphic Designer, this role is responsible for assisting with conceptual, creative design and production of materials requested by departments across the entire Vikings organization. Requests consist of but are not limited to digital and print collateral, environmental designs for the Vikings’ various facilities, social media designs, logo/brand design and creative brainstorms. This position is expected to work both home and away games, assisting in creation of social media content. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task in an exciting, fast-paced environment and must be highly collaborative and open to feedback.

As the Marketing Photographer, this role will support the Vikings Marketing through the planning and execution of all lifestyle and product photography needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute strong design experience in a various format – print, banner, signage, web, specialty projects – while adhering to the brand standards of the Vikings and our sponsors.

  • Act as the primary photographer for the creative team. Responsible for lifestyle and curated photoshoots as well as product photography for marketing campaigns from planning, art directing and shooting, to culling and editing final deliverables.

  • Strategic planning and content creation for marketing campaigns.

  • Produce creative material efficiently.

  • Work independently on projects, while also being able to collaborate on larger projects and initiatives.

  • Respond to creative direction and feedback.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects on a daily basis.

  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and design collaborations with other True North designers as well as other departments

  • Work home game at U.S. Bank Stadium and away games remotely

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Four-year degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience

  • Understanding of typographic, layout, composition, color theory and design principles

  • Ability to fully execute lifestyle and product photography – Including, but not limited to, planning, art direction, photography, culling and editing.

  • Produce creative material efficiently and with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects on a daily basis to meet deadlines

  • Ability to take creative direction and feedback from others

  • Ability to work independently but also discern when it is needed to ask questions or obtain help from others

  • Ability to be highly collaborative with other designers and other departments

  • Available to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

  • Proficient in the latest Adobe Creative Suite; with expertise in Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and Illustrator needed

  • Ability to commute to TCO Performance Center and U.S. Bank Stadium
