The Video Intern will assist our in-house video team with their day-to-day operations on a wide range of video projects, including shooting and editing content for the Milwaukee Bucks and their business entities including Fiserv Forum, Wisconsin Herd, Bucks Gaming and Deer District.
These projects may include gameday content, sponsored video content, practice reports, all-access series, press conferences, arena events, etc. The ideal candidate will provide gameday coverage for both home and away games, working either in the office or from Fiserv Forum, to assist with gameday content capture and editing
Candidates are encouraged to submit a portfolio/reel of work (either via link or website)
Log gameday video footage.
Produce/edit video packages to be used across Bucks, Fiserv Forum, and Deer District digital channels.
Film various events ranging from Fiserv Forum/Deer District press conferences, practice reports, on-location sponsorship, and community relations events, etc.
Assist with transportation, set up and tear down of lighting/ video equipment on set.
Assist producers with shot list and script management on set.
Currently enrolled in a college or university majoring in film/video production, film studies or related field.
Possess a strong grasp of videography and non-linear video editing.
Working knowledge of DSLR cameras and other audio/visual equipment.
Working knowledge of the Mac and/or PC operating system.
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
Basic understanding of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Experience with exporting/delivering video for various social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
Exhibit a strong attention to detail, be organized, display a proven ability to project manage & meet deadlines along with a constant desire to improve creatively to strengthen the Bucks brand.
Ability to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner, often under tight deadlines.
Able to accept feedback/constructive criticism.
Professionalism, friendliness, and a strong work ethic.
Be creative, resourceful and a good problem solver.
Working knowledge of the sports industry, NBA, and the game of basketball – experience working for a sports team a plus!
Be available to work game days throughout 2022-23 season, which will include nights, weekends and possibly holidays.
Willing to work 20+ hours a week (including gameday coverage).
