Summary The Milwaukee Brewers take pride in the excellent service we provide our fans and guests each and every time they come to a ballgame or event at American Family Field. We have established very high standards that we expect every employee to follow. The Guest Relations Booth staff will be responsible for welcoming, greeting and/or providing stadium related information/assistance while offering the finest customer service to American Family Field guests. This position requires standing and sitting for the duration of their shift in both cold and hot weather in the Guest Relations Booths, located inside American Family Field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Treat our guests with courtesy and respect and assist them to ensure their visit is safe, clean, fun, and family-friendly

  • Answer questions from guests of American Family Field at the Guest Relations Booths during games and large-scale events and communicate an effective response

  • Maintain communication with the Manager – Guest Experience on in-game issues and work to establish superior guest satisfaction

  • Problem solve with the Manager – Guest Experience, the Coordinator – Guest Experience and guests of American Family Field regarding escalated issues that may arise

  • Maintain knowledge of event information and general ballpark policies and directions, ensuring guests are informed

  • Answer phone calls from the Guest Relations Booth on the Game Day Guest Relations phone line

  • Log lost and found items at the end of each event

  • Provide game notes and badges to ushers and gate screeners prior to gate opening

  • Ensure fan compliance with American Family Field and MLB policies/procedures

  • Comply with employee policies and procedures as outlined in Seasonal Staff Handbook

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Employees must communicate well and be friendly, knowledgeable, well-groomed, assertive and able to intervene in conflict situations

  • Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service to all fans and guests in a professional, respectful, patient and friendly manner

  • Must be available to attend training sessions, stadium tours and other events, as necessary, prior to beginning of the baseball season

  • Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays during baseball season

  • Must be available to arrive up to three (3) hours prior to game time

  • Must be able to stand or sit for up to five (5) or more hours at a time

  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
