We are seeking a high-impact, dedicated Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic partner to the organization, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on commercial thinking, executive-level facilitation and interdepartmental collaboration. Duties include strategic analysis, leading and implementing various strategic planning processes across the organization, setting and tracking organizational metrics, financial analysis, and providing proactive preparation across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, be commercially-minded and have an inquisitive nature. The day-to-day activities will span strategic, analytical, and operational levels. An ability to learn quickly, problem solve expertly, and identify outstanding solutions is crucial to success in this role. Candidates must be disruptive thinkers not afraid to question the status quo. Above all, candidates must be creative, proactive, and excited about the opportunities ahead.

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with the COO to set strategic direction and KPIs; create dashboards and reporting packages

  • Work directly with the COO to manage and drive key operational initiatives across the business, ensuring full alignment and accountability across the organization

  • Prepare for key meetings and presentations

  • Manage all planning sessions, check-ins, and review meetings alongside the COO

  • Collaborate with department leads to develop and track team-wide success metrics regularly

  • Work directly with the COO to prepare data-driven updates that support executive updates

  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making and initiative implementation; Collaborate with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies

  • Provide COO and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the company’s operations

  • Provide tactical support to implement ideas; work cross functionally across departments

  • Work with leadership to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress

  • Support executive messaging and communications

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation, identifying and helping solve core problems or opportunities within business processes

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with budget management, forecasting and financial analysis

  • Nimble commercial-minded approach with a focus on developing creative solutions

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional interactions

  • Ability to exercise excellent judgement in a variety of situations

  • High level of integrity, ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information

  • Accountability, attention to detail, organization and proactiveness

  • Flexible and able to function well in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Schedule flexibility

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred.

  • A minimum of 7 years of work experience, preferably with the majority as chief of staff supporting a C-Level executive or executive management.

  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management preferred.

  • Sports industry experience helpful.
