The Miami HEAT Digital Content department is seeking an intern to fill an exciting role alongside the Digital Content team for the Summer of 2023! The internship is designed to give college Juniors and Seniors the experience of learning and working closely with a professional sports team in the growing field of Digital Content Production. The Summer Internship duration is for the summer months of the season, beginning in June and ending in August. If you’re a creative content creator looking to learn how to navigate your way into the sports creative industry, this is the internship for you!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Digital Content Intern will assist in researching, logging, organizing, converting, archiving and ingesting video and photo content. Other duties include assisting videographers and photographers on shoots, working alongside Producers and Editors to assist with projects for our digital channels (Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Reels/TikTok). Interns will have the opportunity to learn and build content with our team through shooting video and photo content and editing engaging content that is optimized for our social media channels. Knowledge of the game of basketball, sports, and entertainment preferred.

Education and/or Experience

Participants must have strong computer skills, written and verbal communication abilities. Editing skills is a must and knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro editing software is preferred. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work a variety of long and unique hours including weekends and holidays.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be enrolled in college or university and be available to work from June 5th to July 28th.
