The Director of IT Stadium Operations is responsible for the management, support and maintenance of the enterprise server and storage systems for the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Open, and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. Additionally, this person is responsible for supporting the systems and services required for all stadium operations, including access control systems, POS systems and F&B systems
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Systems and Stadium Operations
Responsible for implementing, managing and supporting the enterprise systems to include, but not limited to, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, EMC Storage
Experience with ITIL or similar technology operations and management frameworks
Thorough understanding of DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP
Ensure all Enterprise Systems have valid backups through regular recovery testing
Responsible for collaborating with Development Team to design, deploy and support Microsoft SQL Server implementations
Knowledgeable in configuring, deploying and administering Windows Servers, Clients and MAC OSX Operating Systems
Manage mobile device deployments and configurations
Responsible for the monitoring and efficiency of enterprise resources ensuring 99.999% availability
Ensure compliance with industry and organization security policies including, but not limited to, PCI, HIPAA, etc.
Define, create, deliver and maintain systems documentation – hardware/software configurations, change control, problem/resolution, procedures, etc.
Ensure proper operation of HW & SW
Define and implement a technology refresh plan in support of the continuous efforts to modernize the stadium technology
Experience in working to support medium to large scale domain and e-mail migrations
Server Services
Ensure Business Continuity and High Availability for all mission critical services in the organization
Design, deploy, manage and administer VMware infrastructure
Design, deploy, manage and administer Storage Area Networks
Ensure servers are updated, patched and monitored in alignment with industry Best Practices
Collaborate in adhering to the policies and operating procedures that are defined in the Information Technology Operations Calendar
Mentor junior System Administrators and raise the bar for System Performance Standards
Professional Services
Interface with existing support and solutions teams to understand/validate/define integration requirements for all solutions
Breadth and depth across multiple disciplines in order to understand the integration implications
Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Work within a highly dynamic environment in a senior role
Research new technologies and make recommendations for efficiencies
Assist in the development of Capital and Operating budget plans and maintain adherence
Recommend and justify investment in technologies to improve fan experience
Qualifications:
BS/BA required, Certifications MCSA/MCSE, CEH
10+ years of experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server implementation and support
10+ years of experience with VMware, Enterprise Storage systems and Backup solutions
Experience with building systems and performing system enhancements
Information Technology risk mitigation practices experience a plus
Good understanding of regulations as they relate to PCI, HIPAA, etc.
Conceptual and hands-on experience with BC/DR/HA scenarios
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; excellent analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills
Excellent problem solving skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
