The Operations Coordinator for the Miami Dolphins Foundation will be based out of Miami Dolphins corporate headquarters and will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of all Miami Dolphins Foundation events, including Dolphins Challenge Cancer, Fins Weekend, Draft Classic Weekend, Alumni Weekend, and more.


Dolphins Challenge Cancer

  • Lead role in the planning and successful execution of all Start Lines and Water Stops including but not limited to, site layouts, security staffing, restrooms, staffing plans, entertainment, rentals etc.

  • Secure Water Stop and Start locations by obtaining permits if required or communication with facilities/locations in conjunction with Operations Sr. Director

  • Support Staff Assistant with managing volunteer leads

  • Confirm all deliverables and activations, both non-sponsored and sponsored, at starts and water stops

  • Responsible for the creation of checklists, timelines and layouts for water stops and start lines

  • Develop and implement the DCC Transportation Plan, creating safe and secure bike and participant transportation elements

  • Manage signage for DCC, including site and route signage

  • Negotiate prices with vendors

  • Manage DCC Golf operations, course set up and food and sponsor activations for tournament in conjunction with Operations Manager

  • Support planning, operations, and execution of DCC Heavy Hitter Event

  • Manage planning and execution of training rides including but not limited to developing calendar, securing orders, fulfilling sponsor activations, hiring police, etc.

  • Oversight of Staff Assistant managing DCC Merch on Shopify

Foundation Operations

  • Support Manager in 50/50 Activation on Game Days and approved events

  • Support with management of videoboard messages

  • Silent Auction Management including planning all silent auctions, creating forecasted goals, executing auctions, and reconciliation

  • Operations support for other events including but not limited to Fins Weekend, Draft Classic Weekend, Alumni Weekend efforts, etc.

  • Maintain storage with Staff Assistant inclusive of inventory, organization, and restocking

  • Oversight of Staff Assistant and our charitable giving program through Donation Exchange


  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree

  • 1+ year of experience in events, operations, or similar

  • Highly organized, thrives managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to problem-solve under pressure and navigate rapidly evolving situations while maintaining a professional composure

  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
