The Coordinator, Community Relations will assist with outreach programs and facilitate external communication and community events. Working directly with the community relations & community affairs teams, this position will facilitate imaginative programs that deliver against the community brand and business objectives of connecting the intersections of our community to create a more inclusive South Florida.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for the Football UNITES community initiative
Work as a liaison to 30+ non-profits and host meetings with community members
Assist in keeping data and logs of contact with community partners
Support the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix community initiatives and team
Create and maintain a tracking and reporting system for communication, partner agreements and follow-up on assets
Execute team community events from start to finish
Coordinate newsletter correspondence to community partners
Ordering and keeping inventory of donation items and giveaways
Oversee the content calendar and strategy for all Community relations social media accounts
Organize, plan and execute cultural experiences and tours with local venues in South Florida
Oversee the monthly newsletter for all external partners
Attend meetings, track meeting progress, keep meeting notes and share information
Communicate with part-time staff on upcoming scheduling and duties
Support donation program by ordering, packing, and delivering items
Operate Junior Dolphins branded vehicles for pickup and drop-offs along with maintenance scheduling
Foster inter-company relationships and educate organization on the work of the department
Assist with part time staff communication and assigned tasks
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree and 1-2 years of relevant work experience
Proactive and able to work well under pressure and under short deadlines
Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills, able to multi-task and prioritize
Flexible and adapts to various environments and situations
Must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times with a team first mentality
Must be enthusiastic, creative, and able to think both strategically and tactically
Must pass a driver’s background screening
