The Operations Crew Member will be responsible for working with management staff and supervisors to ensure the facility conversions and setups are completed accurately and on time.

In This Role You Will

  • Assist with event setups, changeovers, and operational tasks as directed by the Assistant Operations Manager and Operations Lead which may include tables, flooring, risers and portable seating, etc. are completed in a first class and efficient manner.

  • Perform facility operational tasks on non-event days including storage of equipment, hanging pictures/whiteboards, furniture, tools, and identifying damaged equipment.

  • Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment.

  • Arrange for the repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.

  • Works with other in-house staff to ensure production requirements are met and promoter/client requests are fully executed.

  • Contributes to the team dynamic by assisting coworkers

  • Maintains the facilities’ cleanliness and helps to develop and maintain a positive work environment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • At least one year of operations or related experience.

  • Knowledge of telescopic retractable seating, and SRS seating installation and maintenance.

  • Knowledge of practices and procedures related to event set-up and conversions, methods and techniques for cleaning and maintaining the facility, and proper use and care of hand and power

  • Able to speak, read, and write effectively in English.

  • Ability to understand, follow directions, and perform assembly set-up job functions under limited supervision.

  • Must be able to do repeated lifting, bending, standing, squatting/pushing, pulling with arms, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.

  • Working knowledge of assembly operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, staging equipment, and equipment used for installing basketball floors/hockey glass i.e. sockets, wrenches, hammers, drills, impact wrenches, allen wrenches, and screwdrivers.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and function in a fast-paced setting efficiently and safely.

  • Must be able to work with a team and have a professional attitude and appearance.

  • Ability to lift/push/pull/kneel or otherwise move approx. 50 lbs. unassisted consistently for an 8-hour shift.

  • Must be able to work under pressure, in time sensitive operations, in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Dependable enough to work scheduled shift and varied schedules (mostly overnights) including weekends and holidays.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Nice to Have:

  • Forklift certification

  • Knowledge and passion of NBA Basketball.
