The Manager of Performance and Organizational Development will design and implement training programs that advance our employees, their knowledge and ability to grow and drive the organization to its fullest potential. You will be passionate about maximizing the employee experience, have excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with various leaders in the business to strategize and formulate L&D plans for each department.

Additionally, you will deliver best-in-class scalable talent lifecycle processes and programs in the areas of competency development, goal setting, career paths, talent calibration, career development and talent planning.

Although this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities at this time, you will act as an advisor, coach and mentor for people leaders and employees across the organization.

In This Role You Will

  • Creates, plans, directs, and leads performance management and succession planning.

  • Collaborates closely with Human Resources and people leaders to continuously improve (and build) outstanding talent programs that drive measurable results as well as career growth and retention.

  • Lead the diagnosis, collection of data, and analysis process to design and deploy leadership and organizational development initiatives targeted to entry-level and mid-level people leaders.

  • Champions a culture of learning and development and assists with Career Development programs and initiatives, leading development efforts for individual contributors.

  • Provides communications, webinars, and ongoing support to the organization for all OD programs.

  • Expands current capabilities and builds new programs to support career development and internal mobility.

  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs based on thorough analysis of gap analysis across the organization

  • Implement various learning methods companywide (coaching, job-shadowing, online training, role-based, leadership and structured LMS training)

  • Refresh employee onboarding and offboarding programs to achieve the most positive impact.

  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities

  • Assist leaders in developing their team members through clear career pathing in each area of the organization

  • Manages all pulse and engagement surveys that drive participation and impact.

  • Other duties may be assigned on as needed basis.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Master’s degree strongly preferred.

  • 7+ years’ experience leading talent management, organizational development, leadership development etc. where responsibilities included performance management, succession planning, coaching and career pathing in a corporate, professional sports, media, or entertainment structure

  • Experience with performance management design, tracking, reporting and support

  • Strong functional talent expertise, specifically talent management, succession planning and performance management.

  • Experience effectively analyzing talent data to glean valuable organizational and people insights.

  • Be a proven change agent to accelerate organizational change initiatives.

  • Project management, risk assessment and resource management, with proven ability to connect performance and organizational development initiatives to business strategy.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and organize complex information.

  • Ability to identify and work through problems and conflicting issues in a clear and diplomatic manner.

  • Skilled communicator who has delivered trainings to all levels, using different modes of delivery

  • Ability to build rapport with employees, leaders, and vendors
