The Memphis Grizzlies are seeking a Digital Product Manager to assist in leading the strategy and roadmap of consumer facing digital products and supporting the daily operations of the Grizzlies’ digital products and platforms. This person will have a fan-first mindset, a strong understanding of programming languages, and an ability to develop data pipelines to improve our digital ecosphere. This role will work closely with internal departments, and third-party vendors to make sure we deliver innovative digital experiences that leverage UI/UX, new technologies, and drive revenue and fan loyalty.

In This Role You Will

  • Understand evolving market trends, user needs, and technology innovations to develop and grow our digital product portfolio

  • Identify opportunities, build digital solutions, and grow our digital product offerings to help enhance customer experience and drive revenue

  • Focus on the Grizzlies brands’ mobile apps, working closely with Marketing and creative teams to enhance the fan experience

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive roadmap and backlog for digital products

  • Ensure strategic success of digital products by driving continuous improvements to enrich engagement, channel optimization, and usage

  • Create wireframes and mock-ups through flow diagrams, storyboards, and site maps

  • Explore emerging revenue-generating opportunities and refine existing processes

  • Oversee quality assurance testing for all digital platforms

  • Evaluate usability and the utilization of platforms and implement planned improvements based on user feedback, and best practices

  • Leverage analytics to enhance the user experience and maximize revenue and engagement

  • Further develop A/B testing protocols to further enhance our digital experiences

  • All other duties as assigned.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, digital marketing, information systems, or a related field

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, software development, analytics or related field

  • The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in digital product management and/or mobile app technologies.

  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple program priorities

  • Passion for navigating new situations, challenges, and working through ambiguity

  • Experience working in content management systems

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end or backend programming languages such as Javascript, Python, or React JS.

  • UI/UX Experience

  • Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball
